How Active can you be?
Questions:
How long have you been playing Garry's Mod?
Since 2014, 2,676 hours.
Why do you think you deserve the position (100 words minimum) ?:
I do not believe I am entitled to, or deserving of the position, but that I am very fit for the position of CG commander. I have lots of experience with running regiments which are the equivalent to Clone Guard, being the Shock troopers and Coruscant Guard. I have had to write a few handbooks for the battalion when I was a Commander, and I have had to reform the battalion due to poor, unstable leadership that came before me. I turned the battalion into one of the most respected, and one of the most disciplined battalions within the server.
How would you go about running such a regiment?:
Describe your battalion, and your knowledge of it. 50 words minimum:
The Coruscant Guard is an elite force of troopers, who serve the purpose of being a military-police force, guarding the Republic Capital planet of Coruscant, and conducting hostage rescue situations. In lore, they were commanded by CT-1010, also known as Commander Fox, and CT-4477, also known as Commander Thire. Commander Thire and his squad were responsible for finding Jedi Grandmaster Yoda, following a battle he had with Emperor Palpatine in the Senate Building. Commander Thire and his squad also escorted Emperor Palpatine to Mustafar, where they found a defeated Lord Vader after his battle with Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Scenarios:
One of your troopers is accused of disobeying the orders of another officer, you were not there to witness it. What do you do?:
Coruscant Guard Troopers are only to respond to orders from Coruscant Guard Officers. The trooper is in the right. I will still ask the officer what order he gave my trooper, and inform them that CG troopers only listen to orders from CG NCOs and Officers. If the Officer was a member of the CG, I would ask the Officer what order had been given, and then ask why the trooper did not listen to the order. Depending on the order, I will make a decision on what to do, if the order was a stupid order, I would side with the Trooper, and tell the Officer to not give orders like that, and most likely give them PT. If the order was a good order, then I would give punishment to the trooper, most likely PT.
A Higher rank than you is showing animosity towards your regiment and it's members, leading to drama and a strained relationship between regiments. What do you do?:
I would approach the higher ranking officer and kindly ask them why they are showing animosity to my regiment, and to stop showing such animosity towards my regiment. I would ask that if they have any suggestions which would make the regiment better, that they give them to me, so I can further improve my regiment. If they fail to stop, I will attempt to bring it up to one of their higher ups that they are showing bias and animosity against my regiment.
The Commanding Officer of the mission is showing incompetence, failing to properly lead troopers and accomplish the objective. What do you do?
I would attempt to convince the Commanding Officer that maybe we should attempt something which could lead to a better outcome. If he fails to lead the troops in a successful manner, I would bring it up to other Commanders involved with the Mission that they should be replaced and a more competent Commanding Officer be put in place. I would suggest who I think is the most competent commander present to be the replacement.
