In-game name: 212th ARCO 2LT Codes
Discord Tag: Tetrial#7858
SteamID: STEAM_0:1:155870846
Age: I'm 19 years old.
Timezone: UTC/GMT-5
Previous Experience: Previous commander of Rancor as well as lower officer ranks, officer in Republic Commando's, current officer of the ARC program on the server, commander of 212th as well as 2nd Airborne, etc.
How Active can you be? My activity at the moment is not what it used to be during my university break, however I'm active at least 4 days a week on the server for at least 4 hours each time.

Questions:
How long have you been playing Garry's Mod? As I detailed in my staff application 1 month ago, since 2018. I've played on two different accounts, my accumulated time is around 1100+ hours.

Why do you think you deserve the position (100 words minimum)?: Ever since joining the ARC program on the server, not only have I enjoyed being there but I've also tried to make the experience as good and enjoyable as I can for everyone. A bit after I joined, I proposed the idea of having a RP Backpack for each member of our group, in which they could carry certain RP items that would allow them to help out during missions, RP scenarios, etc. We tried to make this as balanced as possible, and in my opinion it has helped to make the RP scenarios of our troopers more realistic, as you can't really pull out any random stuff from your backpack at any moment. Furthermore, I believe I have enough experience on the matter to confidently say that I can run this program efficiently and make it the best experience for the ARC members.

How would you go about running such a regiment?: ARC on our server is managed more as a program than a regiment itself, as we have regimental ARC troopers. I don't ask my troopers to be loyal to ARC before their battalions themselves, but if we're going on a special assignment and I'm counting on them I need them to come with me. When running a specialized battalion as ARC is, I constantly implement training (simulations and specialized trainings) for our troopers to keep them sharp as well as ready for anything and everything. Troopers that want to become ARC will have to go through a tryout and a Trainee period, however the commanders of different battalions can also reccomend troopers that they feel would fit nicely in the program.

Describe your battalion, and your knowledge of it. 50 words minimum: The Advanced Recon Commandos were a specialized version of clone troopers that served in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. In Legends material, there were 3 main versions of ARC troopers created for the Republic: the Null, Alpha and the regular ARCs. Nulls and Alphas were genetically modified versions of normal troopers, while regular ARC troopers were selected from outstanding clones in the differnet regiments of the army. Examples of these are Fives, Echo, Jesse, etc.

Scenarios:
One of your troopers is accused of disobeying the orders of another officer, you were not there to witness it. What do you do?
First, I would ask both the officer and my trooper to tell me their sides of the story, as I believe it's important to listen to both perspectives to have a clear view of what happened. If they are under my orders or orders of a superior officer to do something, I would not worry too much about them not listening to other officers if the orders are contradictory, however I would ask my trooper to inform officers next time when he already has important orders. If there is any proof of the incident, I would also take that into consideration for potential punishment towards the trooper or dismisal of the claim.

A Higher rank than you is showing animosity towards your regiment and it's members, leading to drama and a strained relationship between regiments. What do you do? If Higher Ranking officers are causing issues with ARC I would try to resolve it by myself first. We've had issues before with drama on the server, and I've tried to resolve some of them as a staff member myself. If the situation proves too much for me to handle (and considering I would be acting as a staff member and part of the issue), I would call for High Command or Higher Staff members to help us resolve whatever is happening.

The Commanding Officer of the mission is showing incompetence, failing to properly lead troopers and accomplish the objective. What do you do? ARC troopers are taught to be independent on the battlefield, but this does not mean that I would just leave the troopers behind and do my own thing. I would radio for Command to relieve the current GC from his position and have someone else take his or her place, however I don't usually like to do this since it can be interpreted as hostile by the current GC or others. As a first option I would ask the GC if he needs any help in OOC chat or give any pointers.

You've been in the ARC program and have seen what it's all about. You're an ARC Officer and I believe you'd be fit for the role. We need a ARC lead to get us all situated, and I think you can do it

Codes is more than fit for ARC lead in my eyes. His time on the server as an ARC trooper has been very pleasant and good and he would make a good leader for ARC.
